My name is Mark Alexander, I went to business school and have been working for my family business for 23 years in the chemical industry.

Trough our import/ export procedures we’ve been working with logistics since 1999.

Working in this industry in several countries gave me a deep insight into logistics in the frame of different jurisdictions, political constellations and customs clearance.

Our company and my family´s life style led me around the world since I was a child and so I lived in 5 different countries yet. I´ve been moving internationally all my life and actually lost count of my personal relocations. Between Germany and Brazil alone I´ve had 8 relocations.

We have had it all, from XS to L moves.

It began with XS moves –with luggage overweight in a flight or a trip by ship with 3 huge trunks and lots of suitcases.

It went on with SMALL moves – 2 cubic meters per airfreight and up to MEDIUM moves with a 20 feet container to LARGE moves with 40 feet containers.

We’ve also had innumerable domestic moves within cities, also intercity and interstate relocations in England, Australia, Germany and Brazil.

My wife Simone and I have been married for more than 2 decades now and she is my moving partner and brings in the female perspective and the sixth sense. And also the common sense.

In our first life after high school we trained to become dental surgeons, always staying related to that field.

Running a surgery provides one with a set of skills that always pays off.

We´ve had the full scope from full service to complete DIY domestic moves and even DIY international moves along with several dental praxis relocations.

After decades planning our own international moves and helping friends and expat-colleagues with theirs we decided to make a business out of it.

So we created the consultancy “Shipping my life”.

During our life long “moving career” we gained valuable competence through a vast pool of experience.

The logistics industry is a global entity that follows the exact same principles worldwide.

We will be happy to share with you our expertise and long-time experience to prepare you and your family for what will probably be one of the most striking and significant decisions in your lives.

We will spare you much of the hassle and annoyance that normally overrun those projects stealing your energy and money, posing additional challenges you neither need nor want to have.

We left Europe and relocated once more to Brazil with one more DIY international move during the peak of the tribulations in 2020.

Through this experience we were able to acquire a very special set of skills witch I would have loved to decline because the path we had to follow was very challenging...

We currently commute between Sao Paulo and the State of Santa Catarina.
